ICCSPL will provide technical support to Tata Steel Rural Development Society (TSRDS) to understand and develop interventions based on the Value Chain Analysis (VCA) of 5 potential products in the target region. The first engagement in this regard was to undertake Value Chain Analysis of these selected products (Fish, Lac, Tamarind, Chironji and Cashew) that have a huge potential for growth and are relevant for the poor and marginal farmers. As a second component, based on the findings of the VCA, detailed project reports were prepared. As part of the second engagement, a potential partnership is to be developed for implementing the project in the selected locations where value chains of Fish, Lac, Tamarind, Chironji and Cashew.
